In-Person Worship at St. Paul's

Beginning 6/27/2021, here are the ways that St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Ventura will be moving forward:

-Online streaming services: These will continue. If you aren't ready to return in person, or are unable to be physically with us, please join us online. As usual, you'll be able to watch the service at: our Facebook page, live: ww.facebook.com/saintpaulsventura, on YouTube (streaming live at 10:15am now): www.YouTube.com/stpaulsventura and via our website www.saintpaulsventura.org.

-Social Distancing: We will reserve a section of our sanctuary for social distancing. Reservations through Sign-Up Genius (please see our "Click and Go Newsletter" on Saturdays or contact our office via phone or email) are still required for this section and you are asked to arrive by 9:45am to be seated in this section.
For those who meet the CDC guidelines to forego social distancing, open seating will be available. No reservation is needed for open seating. Please arrive by 10am to get seated and ready before the service begins at 10:15am.

-Coffee Hour: Coffee hour will continue to be offered online through the summer. We don't have plans to open an in-person coffee hour yet, but we will update you as things evolve. When the time comes, please consider signing up to serve on the hospitality team.

-Child Care: We are unable to offer childcare during services yet. We'll let you know when that changes. For now, children are welcome in the service, but need to stay with their families. Please consider whether they will be comfortable sitting through the service. You are invited to make a reservation for your family in our in the socially-distanced seating area in the sanctuary.

-Sunday School: Guidelines still require Sunday School to be distanced, masked and preferably outside. We'll let you know when these protocols change. For now, Rev. Liz is planning some special summer activities including outdoor family Eucharist. Please watch your Sunday School Newsletter for further information.

-Walk-Through Eucharist: will continue to be offered on the first Sunday of the month for those who prefer not to be present for an entire service but would like to walk through and receive communion. Watch your Enews for more details each month.

-Committee Meetings and Ministry Groups: Throughout June and July, all committee and group meetings will stay Zoom. We need some time to consider how and when to begin meeting in-person again. We'll keep you posted.

-Meetings of Outside Groups: We have not yet re-opened for groups like AA and Boy Scouts. We are working on a plan and hope to invite them back in early fall.

-Office Hours: This summer our office will be open 10am - 2pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Please email us if you have questions on Fridays, as we do not pick up voicemail again until Tuesday mornings.

Please watch for more information in coming E-newsletters (if you do not receive them already, sign up here).
We'll update you as things progress. Thank you for your prayers and patience as we work our way through this transition and prepare to joyfully welcome you back!
