Original Music Video: Inspirations on Irby, Hymn 102
These are difficult times, full of stress and uncertainty.
Our Music Minister - Dr. Felix Eisenhauer - is creating daily music videos that feature piano improvisations based on the day's hymn. A gifted photographer, he's also providing the cover photo for each video.
Today's piano improvisation is based on Hymn 102, "Once in Royal David's City", from the 1982 Hymnal.
Felix had this to say about today's image (also the featured image on this blog post):
"I am fascinated by closeup images that reveal details we normally don’t see. Added bonus when it involves a drop of water, because, if you look closely, it captures further details that aren’t in the shot itself."
We hope that you enjoy this video. The people of St. Paul's love you and wish you peace.
