Help make a difference by putting your Faith in Action
Faith in Action Suggestion for the Month of September:
We are called to pray, AND we are called to put our faith into action. We are called to follow Jesus which means we need to love and serve our neighbors in the name of Christ. It’s also our job to stand up to injustice and respect the dignity of every human being.
This month we suggest you consider joining with other Episcopalians who are urging Congress to act on Solitary Confinement. Join our call to legislators to establish a commission to study solitary confinement and provide humane recommendations for its reduction and reformation. You can find more information at https://www.episcopalchurch.org/ministries/office-government-relations/ and click on “Take Action.”
Help serve the world in the name of Christ...

Red REACH bags are available for you convenience. Thank you for helping us put our faith into action. For more information, go to: https://turningpointfoundation.org/river-haven-housing/

And one new addition to our list...
Make coming to church a priority...
You're invited to next Sunday's service
Here's what you can Look Forward to Next Sunday:
This Sunday, September 25th at 10:15am
This week we hear another challenging parable about our responsibility to care for the poor. The rich man doesn't go out of his way to do anything wrong, but he also doesn't go out of his way to do anything to help poor Lazarus who he passes by each day. His sin is one of omission. He fails to notice or do anything to help him. We are called to change our hearts, to open our eyes to those around us, and to be willing to take action. Those who truly love Jesus and appreciate what God has given are called to do this important and sacred work in the world, the work of loving and sacrificing for our neighbors. Come hear inspiring scripture, beautiful music and an uplifting message of hope and love. Come to church and get inspired!
Lots of great things are happening!
