Three Short Videos to Inspire You: Habits of Grace, ASL Minute and a Prelude
COVID distancing got you down? Need to do something to lift your spirits? We've organized three short videos that inspired us...and we hope they inspire you, as well.
Habits of Grace. Each week during Easter season, The Most Reverend Michael Curry releases a video message and prayer as part of his series, Habits of Grace. We are already hooked. Click below to see his message. (And check back in this space next week for another episode).
Got a minute? Learn an ASL phrase! At St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Ventura, California, we're learning sign language. Why? Because all are welcome here. In this week's ASL Minute - hosted by our Rector, the Reverend Susan Bek - join us as we learn to sign, "Happy Easter!" We'll be using this phrase regularly until Pentecost. P.S. Learn what's going on at St. Paul's in Reverend Susan's most recent video message.
Light Shadow and the Cross. This beautiful prelude by our Music Minister, Dr. Felix Eisenhauer, is the opening of our online service for Sunday, April 26th, 2020. In this time of uncertainty and challenge due to the pandemic, we long for the peace that only faith can provide. May this video be among the many things that help us to be still and know the presence of God. This is one of many videos wer're posting for the Third Week of Easter. We add to the playlist throughout the week, so check back often.
Check back tomorrow for another blog post. The people of St. Paul's love you and wish you peace.
