Celebrating 130 Years and Supporting the Future

Dear Friends in Christ,
It is my great pleasure to introduce to you our annual giving campaign. Since we are collecting pledges for 2019, the year of our 130th anniversary, our theme will be Celebrating 130 years and Supporting the future of this important ministry.

When I think of all the ways that we have been blessed by the people who came before us, dedicated to creating, and later, continuing this wonderful church, I am truly amazed and inspired. Please join me in offering prayers of thanksgiving for everyone who worked, gave, shared and prayed to make the past 130 years of mission and ministry possible. We are so grateful!
St. Paul’s is a place to find spiritual nourishment, encounter the peace and presence of God and join with others to serve our neighbors while making a difference in the world. We continue to follow Jesus, nurture ministries and welcome all. We console those who grieve, offer forgiveness to the penitent, and share words of encouragement and inspiration with one another as we continue together on this journey of faith. St. Paul’s is a great place to study scripture, explore our faith, enjoy inspiring music, meet up with friends and offer our prayers while expressing the joy that fills our hearts as we celebrate the Good News in Christ.
Please think and pray about pledging to support St. Paul’s as we take up the calling to keep this wonderful church going and growing throughout the coming year and well into the future. We hope that everyone in the church will make a pledge. The amount of your pledge is between you and God. It is a great way to show our appreciation for all our blessings and make a commitment to supporting God’s work in the world.
I pray that you will join Jon and I in making a pledge to support St. Paul’s throughout 2019. Your pledge is both needed and greatly appreciated. I encourage you to respond as generously as you can. God has blessed us in so many ways! Let’s show our appreciation by generously supporting the church we love so much. Thank you for your consideration.
Yours in Christ,
The Rev. Susan Bek,
Rector
